Perfect Holiday Looks

Now that all the pieces are had,  it is time to put them together and head out for some holiday fun.  As I mentioned I have a black velvet pantsuit that I rarely get the opportunity to wear.  Though highly versatile, I've mostly worn the pieces as separates, together they are much more formal.  The suit is from MANGO, and yes, I bought it years ago online, at the end of the season, for a ridiculously low price.  The one thing I have added to it is a 2" wide black satin ribbon that I use as a belt.  Satin and velvet go great together.  Belting the jacket adds more structure to it by emphasizing the waist, and helps to create a more sophisticated look.  I have also added this ribbon to the second option as well, dressing up the sweater and giving it some shape.  Now that it's all put together, I just need someplace to go!
